OTHER KEY OUTCOMES

More Effective, Targeted Strategy and Marketing Message.

Most zip codes in the wellness district’s surrounding service area had seen an increase in the level of employer-sponsored health insurance as a percentage of covered lives and overall population; however, within the zip code where the wellness district is located had increased the most, unbeknownst to the landowner, of all zip codes during the most recent 5-year period.

This discovery, as well as other similar findings, were enlightening and added much color and greater effectiveness to the overall marketing message resulting in the successful recruitment of a local major health system to engage in the development planning of a regional outpatient center, including a free-standing birthing center, women’s center, and sports medicine practice with ambulatory surgery center.

The master planning and marketing messaging we developed also led directly to the execution of a memorandum of understanding with the 4-year state university to create a development plan for the Discovery District, which was a 15-acre subdistrict within the overall 100-acre Wellness District.

Now, as the T-Mobile sign has been erected atop the re-named “T-Mobile Tower” with T-Mobile occupying four (4) floors, the building was a sold upon stabilization to HTA by Mr. Laher.
